PRIVACY POLICY

This Privacy Policy explains how AI Info Forge ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit aiinfoforge.com, purchase a product, subscribe to our newsletter, or list products for sale through our marketplace.

Information we collect

• Email address — when you subscribe to our newsletter, complete a purchase, or register as a seller.
• Payment information — when you make a purchase. Card details are entered directly into Stripe's hosted Checkout and never touch our servers. We receive only a transaction reference, the amount paid, and your billing email.
• Seller information — if you list products, you provide a display name, shop slug, and complete identity verification (KYC) with Stripe Connect. Stripe collects and stores your tax ID, bank account, and government ID directly; we receive only your Stripe account ID and onboarding status.
• Product files — files you upload as products are stored in our object storage and served to buyers who have purchased them.
• Technical data — IP address, browser type, and request metadata, automatically collected by our hosting provider (Cloudflare) for security and performance.

How we use information

• To process purchases, deliver digital products, and email purchase receipts and download links.
• To pay sellers their share of each sale via Stripe Connect.
• To send transactional and (with your opt-in) marketing email through our email provider.
• To verify and re-verify products against their advertised behavior using our drift-testing system.
• To detect fraud, abuse, and policy violations.
• To comply with legal obligations including tax reporting.

Third-party processors

We share information with the following service providers strictly to operate the marketplace:

• Stripe, Inc. — payment processing and Connect payouts. Stripe Privacy Policy
• Cloudflare, Inc. — hosting, CDN, object storage, and security. Cloudflare Privacy Policy
• Resend, Inc. — transactional email delivery (receipts, magic-link login, download notifications). Resend Privacy Policy
• Klaviyo, Inc. — newsletter list management and marketing email (only if you opt in). Klaviyo Privacy Policy
• Anthropic, PBC — AI processing used to verify product behavior. Product files and test prompts are sent to Anthropic's API for evaluation. Anthropic Privacy Policy

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Cookies

We use a single first-party session cookie to keep you logged in as a seller. It is HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Lax, and expires after 30 days. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising cookies.

Data retention

• Newsletter subscriptions are retained until you unsubscribe.
• Purchase records are retained for at least 7 years to comply with tax and accounting requirements.
• Product files remain available to buyers who purchased them, even after a seller delisting.
• Seller accounts that are deleted are flagged as removed but retained in our database for transaction history and dispute resolution.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under the GDPR (EU/UK) or CCPA (California), including the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to opt out of marketing communications. To exercise any of these rights, email us at admin@aiinfoforge.com. We respond within 30 days.

Note: data Stripe collects directly from you (such as KYC information) is governed by Stripe's own privacy policy. Requests for that data must be made to Stripe.

Children

AI Info Forge is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we learn we have collected such information we will delete it.

Security

Information is transmitted over HTTPS. Payment data is handled exclusively by Stripe, which is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified. Seller session cookies are signed with HMAC-SHA256. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute protection.

International transfers

Our service is operated from the United States. Our processors may store and process information in the US and other countries. By using the service you consent to this transfer.

Changes to this policy

We will post material changes to this page and update the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes affecting how we use your data will be announced via email to active accountholders.
